Meet Charles

I started off using alcohol and other substances at a young age to try and escape my depression, anxiety, and fear of death. I was always a good person, but I could just never get myself together or get any prolonged sobriety under my belt. I was always getting in trouble because of my drinking and using. I felt hopeless like there was nothing that was ever going to get me out of this despair and addiction. Then, through the use of psychedelic medicines, my life changed. Psilocybin mushrooms, dimethyltryptamine (DMT), and ketamine were the game changers for me. These medicines alleviated my fear of death and my anxiety and depression subsided.

I was so hopeless for so long being an IV drug user, alcoholic, addicted to benzodiazepines, crack cocaine, food, sex, and even scratch-off tickets. I didn’t know if anything was ever going to be able to pull me out of where I was mentally, physically, and spiritually. Psychedelic medicines changed everything for me. I give full credit to these medicines. However, meditation, self-work, and healthy living also played a huge role to get me where I am today. I just want to let anybody know that if they’re struggling out there and they feel like nothing is going to work for them… there is hope! If I was able to beat multiple addictions, anxiety, and depression, anybody can.

Meet Christina

As President and Founder of MY Self Wellness, Christina Thomas leads management and operations for the Ketamine Clinic—ensuring employees, partners, and customers alike experience the highest level of support and assistance. Christina has over a decade of experience in the hospitality and management industries and received her undergraduate degree from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU).

Christina knows firsthand what it feels like to battle depression, anxiety, and PTSD after being involved in a life-threatening jet ski accident in 2007. She was prescribed a medley of pain killers and mood stabilizers to help suppress trauma caused by the accident, but the drugs left her feeling joyless and lost. She knew there had to be a better way and embarked on a self-healing journey. Using meditation and positive lifestyle changes, she was able to wean off her prescription medications, but it wasn’t until Christina discovered the healing powers of Ketamine that she was able to truly heal.

Today, she is on a mission to share the restorative benefits of Ketamine with anyone suffering from mental, emotional, and physical distress. Opening its doors one week before the COVID 19 lockdown of 2020, MY Self Wellness stands as a beacon of hope and healing to anyone suffering from mental health issues.

When Christina isn’t working at the clinic, she’s mother to her 2-year-old son, Charlie, and is a loving fiancée to, Charles Patti, the clinic’s Brand Ambassador. Together, they are on a mission to serve southwest Florida.

Christina believes that healing happens in community and is proud to run one of the nation’s first female-led Ketamine clinics.

Meet Dr. Farber

Dr. Andrew Ferber, aka Bodhicitta, has over 60 years experience as a psychiatrist and holistic doctor, and 50 years as a meditator and meditation teacher. He is also a retired Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is the current Director of The Osho Institute for the Art of Living and Dying. Meet Jessica

Born in Miami, Jessica is a native Floridian who has lived in southwest Florida since 2003. In 2004, while attending college, she was introduced to yoga. After a life of trauma and depression, the practice of yoga was the first place she truly felt at home and she began her own wellness journey. After receiving her nursing degree in 2008, she continued working in the field of dialysis. Six years later Jessica became a yoga instructor, where she began community-based teaching while still working in dialysis. This allowed her to bring her passion of yoga and patient care together with full mind/body wellness. After 20 years in the dialysis field she yearned for a new beginning, and the next part of her journey led her to MY Self Wellness, where she is able to assist patients on their own healing journeys.

Meet Hanna

Hanna Pratico graduated from the University of Florida before attending Lipscomb University to obtain her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

After spending seven years working in nonprofit organizations, Hanna was discouraged after hearing countless stories from her clients about their deep suffering to no avail. She knew something was missing and that her current methods were not as effective, or as swift, as they could be.

During the summer of 2021, Divine intervention stepped in when she was introduced to MY Self Wellness — a wellness center in Bonita Springs, Florida. Using Ketamine infusions and integrative therapy sessions, Hanna’s clients are able to quickly recover from depression, anxiety, PSTD, and more. MY Self Wellness is the perfect place for Hanna to share her love of psychedelic therapy and deep understanding of trauma, while also spreading the message of intuitive and unconditional love that is needed for true healing. In her sessions, Hanna aims to be thought-provoking and an encourager of curiosity; as well as to bring a certain lightness where heaviness exists in her clients.
